Look no further! Our joint 30 ECTS Program enables you to study at all three universities at the same time.

What is the 30 ECTS Program?

The program is open to international undergraduate students in Mechanical Engineering. It offers a unique international experience, facilitating intercultural exchange between students and increasing your interdisciplinary knowledge and thus your career prospects. Students enroll at one of the three universities but can also attend modules at the other two universities.

All courses are taught in English. The heart of the program are the subject-specific courses in mechanical engineering on the bachelor level, offering you an insight into the expertise of the three universities. Interdisciplinary seminars in various fields are also available, setting you up for an overall comprehensive learning experience.

These are your benefits:

  • The opportunity to study not only at one, but at three reputable German universities of applied sciences
  • Broader selection of elective modules available in English language
  • Expanding your network by exchanging with students and lecturers from three universities of applied sciences
  • Excellent connection between science and practice, as our universities focus on hands-on learning, oftentimes cooperating with local companies
  • Affordable cost of living with some of the most affordable housing Germany-wide and a well-developed public transportation network
  • Leasure activities for every taste: The Ruhr Area caters for football enthusiasts as well as culture vultures alike

How does it work?

You apply at one of the three universities as an incoming international student. By enrolling as cross-registered student at the other two universities, you can choose modules from their teaching curricula as well. Your exam achievements from the other two universities will be recognized by your host university as all three are part of the same Higher Education Alliance Ruhr (HAR).

While choosing modules for your learning agreement, don’t forget to check our module manual (PDF).
